Zakat Campaign
Every year, Allah ﷻ places a trust in your hands: a portion of your wealth that is not fully yours to keep, but belongs to those He has named. This year, let your Zakat open the door of the Qur'an for a child whose family cannot afford it.
Allah ﷻ says in Surah At-Tawbah:
إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْعَامِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا وَالْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَالْغَارِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ ۖ فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
“Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakah] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler; an obligation [imposed] by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.”

Among the eight categories Allah ﷻ named, the poor (al-fuqarā'), the needy (al-masākīn), and those striving in His cause (fī sabīlillāh) are exactly who your Zakat reaches through Mizmaar Institute.
Your Zakat will be directed only toward students and families who cannot afford tuition for our Qur'anic memorization programs, so that no child is turned away from learning the Book of Allah for lack of means.
Every dollar given through this campaign is used strictly within the categories Allah ﷻ has prescribed for Zakat, directly supporting students in need.
Not a portion, not a percentage: the full amount of your Zakat donation is spent on tuition support for students who cannot otherwise afford the program.
As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, Mizmaar Institute is accountable for how every dollar is used, and we hold ourselves to that trust with full transparency to our donors.
